On October 18, Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.2.3 was released for iOS, Windows 10, Xbox and other platforms. Updated and added new paid content - these are maps, skins and adventure maps.
The developers have not come up with any common theme or code name for this version. This is because everyone is expecting Minecraft 1.2.5, which will be dedicated to Halloween. By the way, beta version 1.2.5 is available for download on Google Play or Windows Store.
What's new in Minecraft 1.2.3?
If you look at the list of bug fixes, you can see another long list. There were no such huge number of changes in the source code in versions 1.0.0 or 1.1.0. Huge changes and fixes related to the addition of new mobs, tools and a new generation of the world in version 1.2:
- Added a new button in Realms that allows you to send invitation codes. Next, any player can click on a special link in the social network.network or website and join on your realm server. This is much faster than using the server's IP address and port.
- Fixed a problem with moving objects in the inventory. Now you can easily move full stacks of items with the Y button or move half of the objects with the A button. As you know, in Minecraft Bedrock Windows 10 Edition, this feature disappeared after the release of version 1.2, but now the developers from Mojang and Microsoft have returned it.
- Fixed several bugs related to generating a world of more than 6 fragments on iOS. Now you can not worry about the fact that the game may suddenly fail.
- Xbox One and Xbox 360 have undergone major fixes. A lot of work has been done to optimize and make add-ons compatible with other Bedrock Edition platforms.
