Immediately after the release of the iphone 8 and 10, the company Mojang announced the imminent release of
Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.2.1. In it we will see many innovations that have never met.
Why 1.2.1?
This version is released only for the Android devices. It all starts again - each operating system has its own version. For example in iOS and Windwos 10, the main menu will indicate the
version 1.2. It remains unknown what kind of markings we see on the Xbox and Nintendo Switch, as well as the Playstation 4.
Beta Testing
After reviewing all known data at the moment the number of users in
Google Play is more than 65%, probably because of this, Microsoft have special plans for owners of Android devices. It is very noticeable in terms of participating in the Beta version of the game. For example in Windows 10 Beta Edition 1.2 has taken part in beta testing, only 20%, Xbox 10% and
Android 45%.
Bedrock Edition
In various forums, such as reddit, created a lot of topics associated with the name of the game. About a month ago, Mojang announced that the game will have only two names -
Minecraft Bedrock Edition and
Minecraft Java Edition. But a few weeks later, the developers decided to simplify the name and replace Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Minecraft. This option was one of the developers and is not final. We will know more in about a week.
Release date 1.2.1
According to Microsoft, they have scheduled only one build - 10 (just like iphone) or beta testing 10. It will be the last. Perhaps a day will come mini-test. Finally we will have a full
release version 1.2 and 1.2.1. According to our forecasts, this will happen
September 26, 2017, provided that for this week we will not see beta test 10.
New updates
This month we learned a little about some new innovations that are planned for the full version. Everything new is available to any player in beta testing, but we got specifically for you something. We recently learned that phones and tablets will be added the cursor. I guess developers are a bit wrong, because the cursor is needed for the Xbox. Here's how it looks:
