Funny addon that will add a submarine in
Minecraft PE. This mechanism is similar to the old single submarines. In the game it can be used as tools for exploring the undersea world and other objects on the ocean floor.
Develop add-on lasted a long time, but unfortunately much attention was paid to the mechanics of the management and 3D model of the submarine. For this reason, there is little cons, but more on that below.
How does it work?
A suitable mob for the transformation was the squid. Using his egg to spawn, you can spawn a submarine. By the way, this is a small drawback, because the underwater realm of living beings will decrease significantly. Despite this, in Minecraft PE there is a lot of interesting underwater features to explore which will take a lot of time, but not in our case, because we now have a submarine.
After you choose an interesting place to explore, for example Underwater Temple, then spawned in the pond submarine. To get in, do the following:
- If you have iOS / Android - click on the "Mount" which will appear in the lower part of the HUD
- If you have a Windows 10 - press the right mouse button
To operate the mechanism, you will need to hold the stick. It has a new icon, which resembles a steel key. The submarine will not move quickly, allowing a closer look at interesting underwater things.
Features
Infinite oxygen. The submarine has in its Arsenal a special Ender cylinders with oxygen. Thus you can be in a submarine an unlimited amount of time, with the exception that you may run out of food. Reliable protection. While your character is inside, he is completely invulnerable to any attacks. As you know, Minecraft PE contains pretty much hostile water mobs, but now they can be safely and securely monitored. Disadvantages
The limit of depth. The author of the addon has done a bit of realistic immersion process. In the real world, submarines have a hull with a limit of immersion. Our submarine is no exception. As soon as you want immersion too deep, the mechanism will automatically start to rise to the surface of the water. A small radius of the review. The deeper you are - the fewer rays pass through a thick ball of water. You will need to install additional modifications that will allow you to better see what is happening around or to use special potions. How to install Research Submarine
Addons have the following file formats: .mcpack, .mcaddon, .mcworld and less often .zip. These new file types automate the process of installing modifications, texture packs and maps.
- First we need FX, ES or another File Explorer application.
- Using File Explorer, find the downloaded .mcpack or .mcaddon.
- As in iOS, Android, so in Windows 10 or 11, by default, all downloaded files are contained in the "Downloads" folder.
- In the drop-down menu, open the addon using the Minecraft PE (Bedrock) application. It will take some time to import.
After successful import, you will see the appropriate pop-up labels in the main menu of the game.- Next, we will need to apply a resource pack and/or behavior pack when creating a new world or editing an existing world.
- Open the game world and test the changes.
In case the addon has .ZIP or .RAR format then use the following guide:
- Long press on the zip file to select it. Then click the "More" button in the lower right corner. And then click "Extract to".
- After extracting the zip file, open the folder that was created.
- Go to the following file address: /games/com.mojang/. The following folders are contained inside:
- behavior_packs - addon body and scripts.
- minecraft_worlds - contains both textures, addons and the game world.
- resource_packs - contains textures that ensure the correct operation of addons.
- Next, move the folder with textures to the resource_packs folder (It can be abbreviated as Res).
Then go back to /games/com.mojang/, but this time open the behavior_packs folder and paste the copied folder of the addon body here (This will be abbreviated as Beh). - Launch Minecraft PE (Bedrock Edition).
- Create a new world or edit an existing world.
- Select the desired game settings that you want. Then scroll down on the left sidebar and click on resource and/or behavior packs and apply the imported modifications.
- Open the game world and test the changes.
