Mojang is preparing a global update to version 1.3 to release Minecraft - Aquatic Update. It contains new mods and plugins, mobs, textures and other additions in the C# programming language.
At the moment, there is very little news about the next update of the Aquatic Update. The developers kept everything a secret, but very soon we will show a new version!
Plugins in C#
No, these are not server plugins, these are alternative mods for Minecraft Aquatic that will work on both Android and iOS, Windows 10, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. For the first time, this system was still shown at Minecon 2016, and it was supposed to be released in January, but it seems that the plans of Mojang and Microsoft have changed, so the release of plugins is planned for version 1.3.
What is a plugin?
As many people know, the game already has a system of mods called add-ons, but this really makes it impossible to interact with the game. But using c# plugins with a few lines of code, you can get a lot of new things, and here is a list of sample features:
- creating mobs
- creating blocks and items
- interacting with the world

New limit of ID blocks
Yes, now the game has a limit on the maximum number of blocks and their total number is 255. In the new update, the developers will radically update the entire block system, so there will be even more IDs.
Okay, but what does that mean? Let's start with the fact that mods will now have more features and they will not interfere because of the same block ID. And the most important thing is that in future versions developers can add new dungeons, biomes, dimensions, so it's really cool!
Updated textures 1.3

Twitter) works as a pixel artist at Mojang and is working on updated textures for Minecraft.
Don't expect them in update 1.3, but be prepared for the fact that in the near future all the textures of blocks, objects and mobs will be completely updated!

As I said at the beginning, there is very little information about the Minecraft 1.3 update. Don't expect anything big from the new version, because it will be a completely technical update.
Minecraft 1.3 Release date
Initially, patch 1.3 was supposed to be released on November 7, but now various sources claim that due to lack of time, the release will take place only next year.
